Starting in June, I’m beginning a 6 month residency in the new Bizarre Bushwick show: Iron Chef Burlesque. It will be the first Monday of each month. Mark your calendars!
I’d love to share more photos and videos on this site, but I’d also like to limit access to some of that special content to friends and fans. Coming soon, I’ll be introducing a members only section with image galleries, performance and rehearsal videos, diary entries, and more.
If you want access, it’s free for a limited time, but the catch is you have to ask me for the access code in person at a show.
I’m really excited to be joining the Slipper Room cast for many shows starting this Spring. As the only venue in the whole city to have been purpose built for burlesque, it is a joy to perform on its stage. I’m also in awe that I get to perform alongside some of the most accomplished burlesque artists in New York there.
Having these steady gigs is going to help me fund all of the exciting things I want to do as an artist. I really hope you come out and support the shows. I’ve added some dates to my show calendar already (April 11, May 5th, and June 16th), and will be adding more soon. If you do come out, please feel free to come say hi during intermission.
Marley of Daring Dames Photography in Long Island City does amazing bridal boudoir photography and wanted to do a risque white wedding shoot for her portfolio. I may not have a wedding coming up, but I though it would be a lot of fun to pretend and I already had a white corset for an act that I’m developing. We even added a little more burlesque by incorporating my favorite performance heels and crystal pasties. I did the hair, makeup, and most of the wardrobe styling. The great veils were supplied by Marley.
In March 2018, I collaborated with Marley of Daring Dames Photography to do some sultry boudoir shots in my favorite Dita Von Teese Lingerie set, Her Sexellency. I did the hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling for this shoot. Here are just a few of the amazing images that came from the session. I love how Marley uses natural light and I’m in love with how these turned out.
I’ve enjoyed going to Magical Girl Burlesque shows as an audience member, but now I can proudly say that I’ll be a cast member. On Friday, February 16th, I’ll be in the Unpretty Show at Branded Saloon in Brooklyn hosted by Raina Sinclair. What is my most unpretty act? My cheese grater act of course! I’ll be performing it alongside a bunch of other delightful weirdos and it’s going to be awesome.
I’ll be debuting my new love act at the Newlesque Show at Arlene’s Grocery this Sunday, February 11th! Anything goes in this show so it’s the perfect place for me to try new and risky things. I’ll be going full retro glam: wearing garters, doing a stocking peel, and performing in a big glamorous wig. I will also don my very first merkin. Oh my!
You can purchase tickets in advance here or $10 cash at the door.
I’m Tallulah Talons, the 6’1 giantess of burlesque. I debuted on July 3rd, 2017 at the famous Slipper Room in Manhattan. Please subscribe to this blog for updates about my show dates, costume pieces for sale, and for behind the scenes glimpses at my life.
